      How to transfer my pension plan to inbestMe?

      Simple and easy process

      Transferring your pension plan is very easy. You can do it either when you open a new account or if you are already a customer and want to transfer plans you have in other institutions. In fact, you do not need to give any order at the institution of origin of the plans.

      You simply have to request the transfer from the inbestMe client area when you start the account opening process or, if you are already a client, from the option to contribute/transfer.

      • If you are opening a new account, at the time of the initial contribution you will see two options (cash or transfer). You must choose the “Plan transfers” option.
      • If you are already an inbestMe client, you must select the portfolio where you want to make the transfer → Operations → Contribute money → Plan transfers → Order transfer.


      We have two methods to order transfers:



      Once the inbestMe team receives this information, it is processed and in approximately 5 days the transfer should be confirmed. The pension plan transfer process will take between two and three weeks to complete.

      The transfer is initially made to the inbestMe fixed income pension plan (N5350). In a second step, inbestMe will build your final pension plan portfolio according to your profile by adjusting the weighting of each portfolio component (equity, fixed income), which may take an additional 5 working days.

      Your pension plan portfolio will be distributed according to your profile in the appropriate proportion to:

      • inbestMe Pension Plan Fixed Income (N5350).
      • inbestMe Pension Plan Variable Income (N5349)
      • inbestMe Pension Plan Variable Income SRI (N5392)

      Can I transfer a pension plan from outside Spain to inbestMe?


      Currently, “international” mobility between pension plans is very limited. At European level, there is an initiative to harmonize the legislation governing pension plans and to allow free mobility between these products. For the time being, this initiative has not been fully developed.

      Therefore, it is currently NOT possible to transfer a pension plan from one country to another on inbestMe.
