ℹ️ Estimated timeframe to receive funds after a withdrawal

The full process from the moment you request a withdrawal until the funds reach your bank account may take approximately 9 business days.
If there are pending orders to be settled at the time of the request (for example, due to an internal rebalancing of the portfolio), the timeframe may be extended.

You can request to withdraw money from your inbestMe account at any time. The withdrawal amount can be sent to any bank account, as long as the holder(s) match the holder(s) of the inbestMe account.

For partial withdrawals, you must maintain the minimum investment required for each type of plan (referring to the minimum deposit to open an account at inbestMe).


When we receive your withdrawal request, we must sell the appropriate proportion of assets corresponding to the requested amount.

The process of settling those sales and sending the amount to the designated bank account typically takes around 7 business days. Once the transfer is made, the funds usually arrive in your bank account within 24 to 48 business hours.
Therefore, the entire process from request to receipt may take around 9 business days.

The sale price will depend on market conditions at the time of execution, which means the final value may differ from the value of the portfolio at the time of the withdrawal request. This mainly affects full withdrawal requests. Depending on market conditions, the final price may be higher or lower than when the Client placed the order.

The timing of trade executions is mostly beyond inbestMe’s control and follows standard investment fund processing times.
This is why this product is not recommended for short-term timing strategies.


Important:

>> If there are pending orders to be settled when you request a withdrawal, new sell orders cannot be placed until the previous ones have all been settled <<


If there are pending orders at the time of the withdrawal request (such as an internal portfolio rebalancing or purchases from a previous contribution), the timeframe will be extended, since new orders cannot be placed until the current ones are completed (more info).

 

How do I request a withdrawal from my client area?

Once logged in to your client area, click on: “Withdraw”. If you have more than one account, a selector will appear for you to choose the portfolio from which you want to withdraw.

You can make a partial withdrawal by entering the desired net amount, or choose to close the account, which implies a full withdrawal and the cancellation of the selected investment portfolio.


⚠️ Warning!

When a full withdrawal is made, we will keep a small cash balance to cover any outstanding fees:
from the custodian (last quarter) and for management (last month).

For portfolios held with GVC Gaesco (securities account in Spain), we will have to wait until the end of the quarter to confirm all fees have been deducted and to send any remaining cash balance.

You don’t need to take any further action. Once all fees have been deducted, the remaining balance will be sent automatically to your bank account*.

*During the closure process, we recommend downloading your reports, as access to the account will be permanently closed once the cash balance reaches zero.

If you wish to open an account with inbestMe again in the future, you will need to start a new application from the beginning.
